The CS-805A includes hand-selected 6SN7 tubes for voltage amplification, matched 300B tubes for the driver stage, and specially rated 805A output tubes. It offers versatile connectivity with three line inputs, a pre-input for external pre-amps, and both 4 and 8 ohm speaker terminals.
 
The high-quality headphone output, driven directly from the custom output transformer, ensures excellent sound quality for demanding headphones. Easy bias adjustments and a top-mounted meter make fine-tuning straightforward, while the hum balance adjustment for 300B tubes minimizes background noise.
 
Switch between two sound profiles with remote-controlled negative feedback selection: an open, detailed sound at 0dB or a softer, clean sound at -3dB. The amplifier features a heavy anodized aluminum front, fully vented chassis, and hand-made point-to-point wiring for durability and style.
 
Designed for safety and longevity, the CS-805A includes a soft-start circuit, high voltage delay circuits, and high voltage fuses. Premium components like an Alps volume control, porcelain tube sockets, audio grade capacitors, carbon film resistors, and custom transformers ensure top performance.
