The Cayin iDAC-6MK2 is a versatile digital-to-analog converter featuring the advanced ESS ES9028Pro chip, capable of decoding up to 32bit/768kHz, DSD512, and DoP256 in native mode. It offers six digital inputs including USB audio, AES/EBU, BNC, Cinch, Toslink, and I2S via mini HDMI, ensuring comprehensive connectivity.
 
Users can switch between vacuum tube (4x 6H16B valves) and semiconductor buffer stages for RCA and XLR outputs, allowing for customizable sound characteristics. Additionally, it supports switching between fixed level and regulated volume for direct control of power amplifiers or powered speakers.
