The Cayin JAZZ 70 is designed for music lovers who want to combine the characteristic sound of classic tube amplifiers with contemporary ease of use. As an integrated EL34 tube amplifier, it combines finely tuned tube technology, high-quality components and Bluetooth connectivity in a stylish device for demanding hi-fi systems.
Three 12AU7/ECC82 tubes work in the preamplifier, while the output stage is equipped with four selected EL34 tubes in Class AB1 push-pull circuit. This proven configuration stands for harmonious timbres, musical expressiveness and confident performance on a variety of speakers.
The JAZZ 70 is particularly versatile due to its two selectable operating modes. In triode mode, it delivers 17 watts + 17 watts for smooth, fine-sharp and intimate playback, while in ultralinear mode, it delivers 35 watts + 35 watts for more dynamics, control and energy.
For a stable power supply and high sound quality, Cayin relies on a handcrafted ring core transformer with low magnetic dispersion and EI output transmitters with wide frequency response. This high-quality transformer design contributes significantly to the clean performance and natural sound character of the amplifier.
Even modern fountains can be conveniently integrated. The integrated Bluetooth input with Qualcomm QCC5125 and ESS ES9018K2M DAC supports LDAC, aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC, MP3 and SBC, among others, and allows high-quality wireless music playback from smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth devices.
A special feature are the two front instruments, which not only underline the classic retro look, but are also used for bias setting and bias monitoring. The operating concept is supplemented by several line inputs, a headphone output, a remote control and a removable protective cover for the tubes.
