DAC XP Signature

 

At the heart of the DAC XP Signature is an upsampling digital to analogue converter which transforms any music into the highest possible 32-bit resolution. The fullness, depth and quality of the sound this produces is really impressive.

 

Signature DAC

 

Derived from the Anniversary system, the 32-bit DAC allows any digital source up to 24/192 to be converted with the highest accuracy possible. Two stage upsampling design allows even the quietest details to be reproduced faithfully due to quad, high-precision 32-bit converters.

 

Balanced Pre Amplifier

 

DAC XP Signature’s pre amp is a fully balanced, dual mono design. Both DAC and pre amp are powered by separate, high current toroidal transformers. Balanced or line level output allows the connectivity of matching Cyrus power amplifiers to produce our Signature sound.

 

Sample Rate Handling

 

The DAC XP Signature is prepared for the wide range of sample rates available from today’s digital sources and beyond. Group 1 close tolerance performance is available for 32k, 44.1k, 48k, 64k, 88.2k, 96k, 128k, 176.4k, 192k source material.

 

Upgradability

 

The DAC XP Signature features the PSX-R port for connecting to the PSX-R₂ power supply. This instant sonic upgrade provides a separate, highly regulated off-board power supply.

 

Advanced Setup

 

The microprocessor controlled operating system in the DAC XP Signature allows extensive programming of many functions within the unit. Input naming, differing display readouts and input volume matching across all sources are just some of the possibilities.
