The APOLLO High-End Stereo Power Amplifier has arrived — a formidable evolution of the award-winning HYPERION. This fully discrete, true balanced Class AB power amplifier delivers exceptional performance with output power conservatively rated at 250W per channel into 8Ω and 500W into 4Ω (both channels driven, RMS).
At its heart lies a custom-made 2000VA toroidal transformer, engineered specifically for audio applications and encased in copper shielding for superior noise isolation. Each channel features 16 pairs of BJT transistors, supported by large reservoir capacitors and fast-switching Schottky diodes, ensuring robust and stable DC power rails feeding the modular amplifier circuitry.
The true balanced input stage amplifies both positive and negative signal phases with respect to ground, achieving exceptional signal integrity and dynamic power delivery. With 250W per channel into 8Ω and 500W per channel into 4Ω, the APOLLO demonstrates effortless control and authority, capable of driving even the most demanding floor-standing loudspeakers with ease and precision.
