C-MARC™ XLR interconnect cables provide what we consider the ultimate connection between line-level components. Shown above are the two different types of plug: XLR male on one and and XLR female on the other. A stereo pair is made up of two separate cables, one for each channel. The two different plug types determine the directionality so that the cables are always connected in the same direction per force. Their long term developed maturity of tone will thus automatically be maintained when switching components or systems

C-MARC™ XLR interconnect cables feature high quality professional gold plated connectors. These connectors are robust and heavy. This serves to mitigate parasitic vibration at the very XLR inlets of the component through brute force weight. After connection, the cable's complex cotton composition further dampens this crucial junction. Sonic purity and depth of image are thus maintained. When a typical XLR cable is inserted into a socket, the typical click of the securing spring can be heard to resonate throughout the cable. Not so with C-MARC™. The connection click is heard without any ringing.

C-MARC™ XLR interconnect cables feature mercerized natural cotton fibre instead of plastics. Plastics tend to give the sound a sticky, artificial tonal quality. Transients become smeared and out of focus. Cotton also serves to absorb micro-vibration to a very high degree. This technique has long been used in the filler of professional microphone cable.

The mercerized and braided cotton structure reflects light more readily and has more lustre than non-mercerized cotton. C-MARC™ cable is very lightweight and highly flexible. It does not tug at the equipment, which means that delicately tuned and balanced gear will perform at its very best. With XLR cables, ordering an extra half-meter length is always advisable, due to the fact that this cable does not twist on axis but the XLR connector standard demands a specific axis of rotation prior to insertion of the three contact pins.

Introducing C-MARC™. A new generation of high performance wire and cable, well-equipped to deal with today’s over-polluted electro-magnetic environment.

C-MARC™ is a new type of Litz wire. C-MARC’s noise reduction is based on the bucking coil method using two counter-polarized coils. Every strand's clock-wise turn aligns with a corresponding counter-clockwise turn of exactly mirrored diameter and step. The two resulting counter-polarized coils are mutually superposed. A second-scale fractal replication of the already bucking coils is then repeated. Through electrical cancellation of the induced noise, C-MARC™ provides an enormous signal-to-noise ratio in today's demanding environment.
