The B-100 CENTENNIAL is Luxman's new flagship mono power amplifier, released to celebrate LUXMAN’s 100th anniversary. It is the first model of its kind since the B-1000f, their 80th anniversary model introduced in 2005, nearly 20 years ago.
At the heart of the B-100 CENTENNIAL is LIFES 1.1, the latest version of Luxman's next-generation
amplification engine. First incorporated into the M-10X power amplifier in 2021, LIFES has now
evolved to further reduce distortion and improve performance.
The B-100 CENTENNIAL features a 4×4 output configuration, with four quadruple-paralleled,
triple-stage Darlington push-pull modules per channel. This design delivers 25W of pure Class A
power (8Ω), 125W (8Ω), and up to 1,000W instantaneous output (1Ω). The result is outstanding
linearity and exceptional speaker control, combined with a natural, open, and highly expressive sound.
The power supply employs a highly stable EI-core transformer with flat copper windings for low loss
and strong coupling. It is supported by sixteen 10,000μF filter capacitors, for a total of 160,000μF,
there is a wealth of energy to drive the most demanding speakers with ease.
The exterior design combines functionality and beauty. The 5mm thick top panel features carefully
machined ventilation openings, while the thick front panel has a distinctive slanted edging similar to
our D-100 CENTENNIAL, C-10X, and M-10X. A large, centered, warmly illuminated analog meter adds a refined and timeless look.
The B-100 CENTENNIAL represents the pinnacle of LUXMAN’s technology and craftsmanship, proudly commemorating their 100th anniversary in June 2025 and indicating the direction for the future of the LUXMAN sound. The technologies we have developed for this model will continue to inspire the creation of their next generation products.
