Philosophy: Naim’s one-box philosophy taken as far as it goes before you start adding external boxes. The idea is pace, timing and musical drive from a single, beautifully built chassis that you can upgrade later rather than replace.
Performance: The classic Naim sense of momentum and rhythm, with real imaging and weight. It drives both loudspeakers and headphones with the same energy, and the built-in phono stage makes it a genuine single-box answer for a turntable-led system.
Technology: 80W per channel in Class AB, with a built-in moving-magnet phono stage, a Class A preamp output stage that doubles as a headphone amp, and a full 24V DR (Discrete Regulation) module for the preamp section. Oversized toroidal transformer, separate power supplies for each channel, and ceramic insulators on the output transistors. Upgradeable with Naim external power supplies down the line.
