Philosophy: The flagship digital-to-digital converter in the range, built on the principle that cleaning up and reclocking the signal before it reaches the DAC lifts the performance of the whole digital chain.
Performance: Lowers the noise floor and tightens the timing of almost any digital front end, turning a computer, streamer or CD transport into a far more composed, lower-jitter source. A particularly strong partner for a Denafrips DAC over I2S.
Technology: Proprietary FPGA DSP architecture with FIFO buffering, reclocking and an oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO). Optically isolated digital inputs, a proprietary USB solution handling up to 768kHz PCM and DSD512, a 60VA UPOCC copper O-core transformer, and an external clock input (BNC). Multiple outputs run simultaneously: coax, optical, dual AES/EBU, I2S over HDMI and I2S over RJ45.
