Internal Linear Power Supply Stage 
With an internal linear power supply stage, the Primo V3 ensures that there is less high-frequency noise on the DC rails. The linear power supply stage filters incoming power and feeds the electronics with clean and stable current.
Combined with the high-precision clock, the design minimises jitter, delivering the clearest signal.
The layout of the electronics is engineered to optimize the placement of each component, guaranteeing the shortest path for the current and preventing voltage loss and electrical noise.
 
DAC ES9039Q2M 
The Primo V3 is equipped with the ES9039Q2M DACchip that harnesses Hyperstream IV, ESS’s latest delta-sigma DAC modulator architecture.
The Hyperstream IV architecture is designed to reduce distortion and sensitivity to clock jitter.
The DAC architecture is optimized to minimize digital noise while supporting high dynamic range.

Adjustable RCA Unbalanced Output
The Primo V3 RCA analog output has 8 selectable voltage levels from 0.5 Vrms to 3.15 Vrms enabling you to adapt the signal level to your amplifiers or active speakers to better match your system and for a more natural volume range.
 
Stereo XLR Balanced Output
The balanced XLR output on the Primo V3 uses a differential signal to help reduce electrical noise and interference during signal transmission. Adjustableoutput levels from 1.0 Vrms to 6.3 Vrms support integration with a wide range of amplifiers.
 
High Resolution Network Input 
Supports high resolution audio playback up to PCM 384 kHz/32-bit for faithful high resolution playback from your favorite streaming services like Roon, Tidal or Qobuz and your local music libraries.
 
Supports USB DAC 
Capable of transmitting connected to a USB DAC ultra high resolution PCM 1536 kHz/32-bit. Audio the Primo V3 allows you to preserve the full fidelity of your music stream, delivering sample rates with great temporal precision with bit-depths that retain the full resolution of the original recording.
