Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2v2 Series High-End Upgrade

Wyred 4 Sound’s DAC-2 Series has recently had an upgrade, with the new DAC-2v2 Series now featuring the high-end ESS Sabre 9028PRO DAC chip.

The chip offers the best sound quality for audiophiles who demand more from their digital components. With DSD over PCM playback, the ESS Sabre 9028PRO boosts the DAC-2v2 adding full-scale auto-gain, programmable volume ramp-rate and reduces distortion.

An SE version of the DAC-2v2 is also available, with several upgrades including Vishay Z-Foil resistors and a built-in Femto clock. This is currently the highest-grade clock in its class. Phase jitter is lowered by over 80% with reduced phase noise as well.
