Aqua LinQ HQPlayer module upgrade announced
Italy's Aqua Acoustic Quality have confirmed that their (HiFi News Highly Commended) LinQ network interface will soon ship with a new HQPlayer Core module pre-fitted.
The HQPlayer embedded version implemented in the new HQP Core module has the license for the hardware—the license key will be pre-installed in their labs and the LinQ will be ready to use by the customer (without the need for buying a license).
This new module implements the 'incredible' new i.MX8 micro (ARM 64bit), with great performance and extreme efficiency. So users will be able to enjoy this zero-configuration solution (plug and play), and managed directly by Roon or HQPDcontrol: Core + NAA modules.
The upgraded models will begin shipping almost immediately.
