Experts in digital audio components, Matrix Audio, have unveiled details of two new products, perfect for computer audiophiles. Both are available for pre-order now.

The first to be released is the X-SPDIF 2, a USB to S/PDIF interface. The X-SPDIF 2 reclocks audio signals from the PC and outputs them to DSD quality. Using an 8 core digital signal processing unit with a XILINX SPARTAN FPGA chip, the signal is cleaned with Jitter reduced for a pure output.
Matrix Audio's X-SPDIF 2 is compatible with many devices, which can be configured by the IIS definition switch. The component can also be connected to an external power supply and work with mobile devices.

The second to be released at the beginning of June is the X-HI USB 3.0 Interface. The card-like component is designed to upgrade your computer's audio quality. It does this by increasing the data transport quality and reducing the power supply noise, which makes changes to your PC Hi-Fi system from the source.
By using high precision clocks to coordinate with the USB 3.0 bridge chip, an independent data channel for USB audio stream is opened up. It helps signals bypass the USB controller integrated in the motherboard, to avoid sharing data channels with other USB devices.
Simply install the X-Hi USB 3.0 Interface into your PC, update the driver and enhance your computer's audio playback capabilities.
