Wyred 4 Sound Announces 10th Anniversary Limited Edition DAC

To celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, Wyred 4 Sound have announced a limited edition version of their flagship DAC-2v2SE.

The DAC-2v2SE 10th Anniversary Limited Edition is set have a limited production run and include some special enhancements and features. Internally, the DAC will be powered by a ESS Sabre 9038PRO DAC chip. The DAC's make-up will also feature 88,000uF of filtering with Wyred 4 Sound low ESR "super-cap" (same as used in the STP-SE) and Hand-matched custom Vishay Z-Foil resistors.

On the outside, the DAC-2v2SE 10th Anniversary Limited Edition will be finished with a champagne silver coloured chassis and silk-screened graphics. Custom 10th Anniversary lathed aluminium footers along with a red LED display are also part of the DAC's stunning design.

Wyred 4 Sound said; "It is the culmination of a decade of engineering expertise, using only the highest-grade parts, updated design and distinctive exterior features. It is the ultimate expression of those noble ideals put forth ten years ago that still continue with us today."

This rare and exclusive DAC will only be produced in 2017 and is set to retail at £4,499. Pre-orders can be made from Elite Audio now, with shipping expected soon.
