The ATC SCM100ASL Classic is a full three-way active design. Each speaker houses its own 350W tri-amplifier pack, with a dedicated amp for every driver: 200W to the bass, 100W to the midrange, 50W to the treble. No passive crossover, no separate power amp, no compromise. The active crossover shapes the signal before amplification, so each driver stays in absolute control however hard you drive it.
The star is ATC's legendary 75mm soft-dome midrange, still regarded as one of the finest ever made and the reason voices and instruments sound so utterly real. The 314mm Super Linear bass driver, powered by its own 200W amp, delivers effortless weight and grip that passive speakers simply cannot match. The 25mm dual-suspension S-Spec tweeter extends cleanly and never hardens.
Partner them with any good preamp or source with a balanced output and you have a reference system that will command a large room with ease. This is studio-grade accuracy built for serious domestic listening, and very little at the price gets close.
