The Synergistic Research PowerCell SX is one of the most advanced conditioners the American company has ever built, and it works nothing like a conventional filter. Rather than cleaning noise passively, it uses active electromagnetic cell technology: DC-biased EM cells driven by a Schumann Resonance field generator that drop the noise floor dramatically while leaving current delivery completely unrestricted. That last point is the key one. The PowerCell is fully non-current-limiting, so even a hungry power amplifier draws all the instantaneous current it demands, with none of the dynamic compression that afflicts ordinary conditioners. Built by hand with point-to-point silver wiring, twelve outlets are split into isolated banks so analogue and digital can be kept apart.
