sMS-200 Now Supports USB WiFi

SOtM's sMS-200 Mini Network Player, winner of the 6moons.com Realsization Award, now supports WiFi input via RTL8812AU chipset dongle.

The long awaited WiFi update for the sMS-200 has finally launched, with the version 0.3.0 firmware now available to download.

SOtM's sMS-200 Mini Network Player has impressed 6moons and HiFi Pig recently, blowing reviewers away with its sound quality and power at such a low price. One of the very few "cons" mentioned by HiFi Pig in their review was that the network player didn't offer WiFi functionality. Now with this firmware upgrade, that is no longer a "con" and gives users added flexibility.

The original streaming options are still available of course, with Roon Ready, MPD, DLNA, SqueezeLite and others available. Music files from an external USB storage device, network shared folders and streaming services are also still available on the sMS-200.
