Extraudio joins the Elite Audio UK stable…

Elite Audio UK are pleased to announce an exclusive distribution deal with Extraudio BV from Amsterdam and Leidschendam in The Netherlands—covering the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Extraudio are a small company, whose team is dedicated to the research, design and development of high-end audio products in pure class A and its combination with class D, creating a new category of amplification that they call class AD.

Extraudio began in 2008 with a loudspeaker project, and they soon realised the need for a new approach—different from the rest of the market—to their developments. Working without worrying about the cost of the products, and emphasising energy efficiency, the quality of the sound, design thinking, minimalism, eliminating the superfluous, and more.

They spent almost 10 years on Research & Development, creating the brand and its philosophy, with it first products arriving in 2017. During 2021-21 Extraudio have been extensively reviewing their initial models and creating new ones, and will have a complete catalogue ready to reveal in the coming weeks.

Extraudio products are both unique and exclusive, hand made and long lasting, beautiful works of art for audiophiles. The amplifiers combine vacuum tubes with solid-state transistors as they do not champion any one technology in particular over another, rather preferring a combination of both of them to achieve their objective—maximum high fidelity and a completely flat frequency response.

The ranges available will include their flagship ARTISAN VALVES SERIES and ARTISAN SOLID STATE SERIES plus Phono Pre-amps, Digital Sources and Processors to be announced. They also offer a comprehensive range of audiophile-grade cables, from Analogue and Digital Interconnects to Power Cords and Speaker Interconnects with jumpers and risers as accessories.

Extraudio boast a multidisciplinary team made up of engineers, programmers, musicians, designers and audiophiles all working closely together to create the Extraudio experience—the result of more than six years of research and development dedicated to achieving a product unlike anything previously available.
