Multi-sandwich enclosure with honeycomb structure

The Avantera is a four-way speaker with our multi-sandwich enclosure. Inside, the asymmetrical section is made of a high-tech honeycomb sandwich. The outside is covered with either a glass-elastomer or wood veneer panel-elastomer composite. This makes the enclosure extraordinarily rigid and provides very high internal damping. The cabinet struts are also made of high-tech honeycomb panels and ceramic foam elements. Inherent sound is thus excluded.

HHCT III+ Tweeter

The Avantera features a mechanically isolated mounting plate for the HHCT III+ tweeter, completely decoupling it from the cabinet.

HHCM SL+ bass/midrange driver and Double Surround bass/midrange driver

The new Audio Physic HHCM SL+ midrange driver operates without a spider as well, the new Double Surround bass/midrange drivers also work without a conventional spider. Due to the almost non-existent resistance, these drivers provide unprecedented dynamics and resolution.

Audio Physic have further revised the contacts for the tweeter and midrange and equipped them with WBT Plasma ProtectTM connectors.
