Ophidian launch new three way mid-size floorstander, the Incanto

The British company Ophidian have announced a new product, the Incanto—the latest iteration of their mid-size floorstanding loudspeakers. The speakers are available to pre-order now and will be shipping late October/early Nov 2022.

Features of the Incanto include triple 175mm bass drivers coupled with Ophidian's distinctive Aeroflex bass loading system that, together, promise to reproduce huge scale and dynamics from a relatively compact cabinet.

The Incanto borrows many aspects from the Ophidian P3 Evolution and combines that with technology from the company's new flagship Voodoo loudspeaker to create an intriguingly intoxicating cocktail.

Key to the tonal balance is a 50mm soft dome midrange driver in a sealed unit. The highest frequencies are handled by the same 22mm dome tweeter as featured in Ophidian's flagship VooDoo loudspeaker.

The Incanto uses the crossover components from the manufacturer Mundorf which include metal oxide resistors and air cored coils. As always the Incanto's cabinet is manufactured in the UK. The Incanto is (as is with all of Ophidian's products) constructed with the highest quality standards. The Incanto is available in Oak, or Walnut real wood veneer finishes with custom optional finishes at customer request.
